[marian staggers her way to the front, elbowing the other customers—the good, patient ones—out of her way. her face looks a little pale, a little sweaty. she'd just come out from the restroom.]

Look, um... [her eyes stray to the barista's name tag, squinting a little. her vision dances.] Jan... lenoux. Janlenoux. Right. Um. Sorry about the ruckus, I just made a bit of a mess in the toilet. On it. Around it. Nothing too gross, I threw up a bit of my brunch is all. Bad salmon. Just one of those days, you know?

[ The grumbling from the customers elbowed aside quickly dies down when they hear that explanation — some only recoil, others are more vocal about their sudden wariness towards the cafe's menu. Janlenoux masks his mounting dismay. Turning to the queasy customer before him, he regards her with some concern. ]
