[It turns out to be extremely annoying to wash a devil. Maybe they don't like to be washed? But it's like Pochita thinks this is a game, which bath time certainly isn't. It's a serious time for serious activities. No horsing around in the bathroom, or else you fall and split your head open. Or something.]
[And then Denji is flashing those big, bright eyes at him when he suggests the obvious path of training the devil to behave and not wiggle around like a wet noodle. Aki makes a face as he describes the idea of teaching him how to go vrrrm on his own, mostly because he kind of assumed Pochita could do that already (though he can't say why, it's just... why would he have the saw, if he can't use it on his own? what a worthless devil), but suddenly his expression changes as he comes to a realization.]
...You know that job I did last fall? Cutting up lumber and all that? [Not the actual tree felling, they didn't let him do that, but he was allowed to work the saws and cut everything to size for a good amount of money.] Do you think you could train him to cut things like that? [He saw plenty of chainsaws there, but again, not allowed to use them. They were apparently fine with hiring a minor under the table insofar as not giving him the lethal jobs, he supposed.] You wouldn't get too worn out from a job like that, maybe.
